DESCRIPTION:– A Summer of Fun and Learning Begins. \nToday\, Tuesday\, July 22\, 2025\, marks the exciting start of the Kumba I Council Holiday Workshop\, kicking off what promises to be an engaging and enriching month-long experience for children in our municipality. \nHonored to welcome the young participants this morning with a warm reception was none other than the Lord Mayor\, Barista Prince Eseme Moses and the Secretary General Lucia Etane. Their presence and encouragement set the perfect tone for a summer filled with creativity\, education\, and fun. \nGiven that its the first edition\, the holiday workshop is packed with an incredible range of activities designed to stimulate young minds and foster new skills. The children will enjoy: \n-Cooking and Baking:Learning the basics of preparing delicious and nutritious treats.\n– Dancing: Expressing themselves through movement and rhythm.\n– Craft and Painting:Exploring creativity with hands-on artistic projects.\n– Educational Workshops: Engaging lessons that make learning exciting including biblical teachings\, civic education\n– Outdoor Games: Promoting physical fitness and much more. \nWith over five dedicated and passionate teachers guiding the children\, every participant is sure to have a memorable and meaningful summer experience. \nThe workshop is held at the Kumba I Council Library\, located Up Station Kumba. \nInitiatives like the Kumba I Council Holiday Workshop are essential for the well-being of children. They provide children with opportunities to explore new interests\, build confidence\, and develop social skills outside the traditional classroom setting. By nurturing creativity\, curiosity\, and healthy habits\, Kumba 1 Council is investing in the future leaders and innovators of tomorrow.
