DESCRIPTION:  \nKumba 1 Council has taken home a project check worth 30 million FCFA at the just ended cleanest City 2025 competition. \nFollowing the results chaired by an international jury\, Kumba I Council mantains its position as the cleanest city in the South West Region and the 9th cleanest city in Cameroon. Nkongsamba I was proclaimed the cleanest in Cameroon\, Meanwhile Bafoussam 2 and Garoua 2 came second and third respectively . \nThe results were announced Monday July 7\, 2025 in Bafoussam\, on the sidelines of the official ceremony marking the 39th edition of the World Habitat Day in Cameroon.The event was chaired by the Minister of Hounsing and Urban Development (MINDHU)\, Célestine Ketcha Courtès\, personal representative of the Head of State. \n  \n

The prize amounts to an impressive fifteen million francs\, a significant boost for local initiatives. \n
